Last week I had the pleasure of attending Vancouver's Eco Fashion Week. It was my first time in attendance and with a packed house and handfuls of sustainable designers I felt I would be in for a treat! The highlight of my 2 days was watching the designs of Standing Armed by Lindsay Walsh. A line that I'm very fond of and to be completely honest - it was the ONLY reason I attended EFW.
One of the best ideals behind Standing Armed is not only is it designed by a Vancouverite but it is manufactured and produced locally - these days this is UNHEARD of!!
Lindsay Walsh really knows how to tailor and fit a woman with her clothing. Her patterns and color choices for the Fall Winter 2012 collection is a major testament to her taste and ideas for the line. It's chic, classic, modern and sleek - all factors that any confident woman chooses for her wardrobe.
My favorite item from her FW12 line is by far the watercolor floral pattern silk pants that came in a mixture of red/pink and green/yellow (seen below). The FW line is ultra feminine and offers a range of separates that can be integrated into all wardrobes.
I can't wait for the new season of SA!
